When you receive an abandon report, you can tap on the notification that will show up at the top of your gaming screen. You can also tap over the Paw icon at the bottom right side of your screen > Red telephone > Rescue button, and select one from the list available for rescue or pick up. You can only make one rescue at a time at the early stages of the game, and you need to have enough space in your shelter for newbies.
