Let's take a look at some tips that can be useful during your journey!
Idle Town Master is an idle game, easy to play and intuitive. Your main mission is to discover new parts of the map by managing the resources you find around the villages. Multiple elements generate wealth at different levels, so you'll need to devise various strategies to achieve the desired growth and establish a new settlement.
Here are three BASIC tips to get started:
- Focus your progress on completing the missions that appear at the top of the screen. Completing them will lead you to the next stages of the game.
- Always listen to what the witch and the bard tell you! Be patient and read the advice you receive during the game carefully. It will only take a few minutes and will help you succeed in the game.
- Familiarize yourself with the buttons and icons on the screen, especially when a red signal appears over them!
Buildings:
By building houses, the population of your cities will grow, so you will need more resources as you expand your territory.
To grow and level up, you will need to collect different elements such as gems, jewels, natural resources like wood, food, minerals, stone, clay, etc (depending on each area of the map). To do this, you must build the correct buildings and upgrade them to supply the entire population. CAUTION! Pay close attention to the statistics next to each resource counter. If they are negative, you probably need to readjust the workforce or upgrade a related building (for example, the carpentry needs to be supplied with the wood produced by the sawmill, so you need to ensure that the consumption of one does not leave the other without resources).
In the cities, you will find various special buildings that can be helpful, applying boosters and advantages. Read the building descriptions carefully (even before constructing them) to better understand how you want to approach each strategy.
The castle is a VERY special building that will help you grow significantly. Read all the instructions carefully and assign the right heroes to exploit all its advantages.
Special Elements:
The Destiny's Cards: The arcana (witch's cards) will help you find numerous resources more easily during your journey. Click on the witch's hat (buttons at the bottom) and use your monster eyes to reveal your destiny. You will randomly find a significant amount of resources. You will also be able to raid neighboring villages thanks to the sword card. Choose a village and destroy its buildings to find hidden treasure, as well as collect some goods from their warehouses.
The Mine: Picks, drills, and dynamite will be very useful in this place. Use these items to find buried treasures such as gems, jewels, natural resources, or even valuable dragon scales. Just click on the witch's hat, then on the pick icon that appears on the right.
Adventures: Click on the map icon that appears in the bottom buttons. On the map, various challenges will appear that will grant you valuable rewards (some permanent) if you manage to overcome them. For this, you will need hero cards. How can you get them? Keep reading ;)
Hero Cards: Some chests will grant you arcana cards (witch's cards), collectible cards, resources, coins, jewels, etc., and also hero cards. Once you accumulate enough cards of the same character, you can unlock and upgrade their abilities. Click on the sack icon in the bottom button bar. That's your inventory! In the hero icon, you will see all the advantages you will receive with each character, as well as the requirements needed to upgrade them.
Chests: There are different types of chests in the game that can be found in village raids, adventures, or in the shop. Do not hesitate to open them to find succulent rewards. For this, you will probably need keys. The bard can give you the keys, or you can find them in the castle, in adventures, or the shop. It is part of your strategy how to manage the keys and available chests. Good luck!
Jewels: There are three different ones; Sapphires, Rubies, and Emeralds. By default, you can find one of these three in your mine. The other two can be found in rewards from raids, adventures, in the bard's offers, or by trading with other players. Click on the speech bubble icon (buttons at the top right) to start trading with other users.
Gold Coins, Dragon Scales, and Astral Essence: These three elements will be crucial to upgrade some places in your village. Find them during your adventure by exploring all the places described previously.
