There’s a workbench on each floor. The workbench generates cash continuously — it’s one of your main sources of income early in every stage. It’s especially useful before you unlock automation with cards for your apartments, as it ensures you still earn something even when you’re not actively playing.

You’ll see a working cycle indicator: each time it completes, you collect cash. The amount of cash generated per cycle is shown above the building.

You can spend cash to upgrade the workbench and increase how much cash it produces. To do that, tap the green button near the workbench. If the button is greyed out, it means you don’t have enough cash at the moment.
