The crane is an important tool on each floor. It’s one of your main sources of new workers, useful rewards, and special items that help you throughout a run.

At its basic level, the crane will deliver a new worker periodically. The number on the crane shows the level of workers it will deliver — higher levels mean stronger workers.

There’s a timer next to the crane that counts down until the next delivery. Each time you clear a brick wall, this timer is shortened automatically, helping you get new workers sooner.

The crane also sends mystery boxes from time to time. These boxes may contain new workers, cash, blueprints, cards, or wheelbarrows.

You’ll need to pick up each mystery box before the crane sends the next one — they don’t stack if you leave them uncollected.

The cash amount you get from mystery boxes scales with your overall income from the workbench and automated apartments. Using cards that boost delivery rewards can increase how much cash you receive.

As you upgrade the crane and reach higher floors, the crane becomes a more valuable source of workers and boosts. Keep an eye on it — these deliveries can significantly support your progress toward the elevator.
